Dr.AiR UV-C

Deep UV irradiates directly to the genes of viruses and bacteria floating in the air.
With the conventional UV-C irradiation method, more than 50 seconds of irradiation is required for 99.999% virus elimination , even at close range of 30 cm.
Dr.AiR UV-C uses a proprietary mechanism to amplify deep ultraviolet rays to the highest degree (equivalent to approximately 2.58 million times UV output of ordinary UV-C emitting LEDs) to create an ultrahigh concentration UV space, allowing inhaled air to pass (one pass/one time)through the device for 0.05 seconds or more, achieving virus elimination rate of 99.9997% (measurement limit)or higher.

Dr.AiR engine unit inside the device is equipped with a proprietary UV-cut mechanism at each intake and exhaust opening to prevent internal UV-C from leaking outside.

Air purifiers have traditionally been used to purify indoor air. Dust and dirt which are heavier than air are sucked in through an intake opening located at the bottom of the general air purifiers. By passing through an internal filter dust and dirt are removed and then the air is exhausted upward through an exhaust opening located at the top.

In contrast, Dr.AiR UV-C is configured to quickly absorb air near the height of a person's face, where virus plumes, known as virus pools, exist, and to quickly purify the room while preventing the spread of viruses.

Dr.AiR UV-C achieves highly efficient removal of infectious pathogens from indoor air through its one-pass elimination performance and by its airflow system of rapid intake at the height position where the infectious virus plume exists and ultra-low diffusion blowing from an air exhaust opening.

By being inspired by "newly devised emulsifier with microcapsule technology" and the structure that effectively reproduces actions of oral bactericidal mechanism due to the plant-derived surfactants, "Dr.GuM/DoctorGum" aims to verify and realize developability, reproducibility and commercialization of this function.

September 14, 2020 　The oral virus inactivation technology using biosurfactants, which NejiLaw inc. released on August 31, 2020, was announced by Nara Medical University and MBT Consortium Association on September 14, 2020.
